Doctrinal Statement of CCLiFe

• We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and divine and final authority for all Christians' faith and life;

• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Creator of heaven and earth;

• We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the Cross, in His burial, in His descending into hell, and in His resurrection from the dead, in His ascension to the right hand of God the Father Almighty, and in His personal return in power and glory to judge the quick and the dead;

• We believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no man comes to the Father but through Him alone;

• We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential;

• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life;

• We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto eternal life and they that are lost unto eternal death; and

• We believe that the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the Body of Christ of Which He is the Head.
